What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it) As a Workforce Planner, you will play a crucial role in driving productivity and profitability within our operations. Your main responsibilities will include enabling safety in daily operations by ensuring optimal resource planning, sufficient capacity, and appropriate shift allocations. You will oversee the daily distribution of resources, ensuring effective client delivery across the business. Managing employee data, gathering information and process changes, and ensuring compliance with labor legislation and safety standards will be part of your daily tasks. You will also facilitate shift swapping and bidding requests, continuously improve scheduling accuracy, and act as the point of contact for operational issues. Your efforts will directly contribute to the smooth operation and success of the company. Where you'll be doing it Please note this is a 1 year contract position. For the first few months this role will be fully office based in town CBD. Thereafter there is a hybrid set up where you'll work two days a week from the office. What you'll need To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of a matric with 2 years workforce planning experience). You should have a structured and goal-oriented approach to work, along with a high degree of teamwork, multitasking, and communication skills. Strong proficiency in the entire Office Package, especially Excel, is essential.
