Seeking an experienced Foreman for Steel Fabrication Business R30k to R45k neg Must be Boilermaker Based in Amalgam (near China Mall, South West JHB) An industry leading 53-year-old steel processing business based in Amalgam has a growing steel fabrication division and is looking for a Foreman to lead a team of about 20 staff. The fabrication division is part of a steel processing group that is export focused, employs more than 300 staff and is expanding steadily. You will report into the Head of Fabrication. Duties and Responsibilities Interpret drawings, schedule work and assign tasks to team members Deliver projects on time and on budget Report project progress to the Head of Fabrication and raise concerns early Solve disputes between team members Ensure quality control and implement best practice Desired Qualifications: Red Seal Boilermaker (checks will be done prior to an offer MUST be a Boilermaker) Ideally finished Grade 12 Ideally done some Quality Control or Inspection courses Desired Experience: MUST HAVE BEEN A FOREMAN: At least 5 years experience managing a team in steel fabrication Experience in Boiler making A track record of successfully running a team Package and Remuneration R30,000 to R45,000 cost to company dependent on experience Eligible for annual performance bonus 13th cheque Cost to company will have a standard Provident Fund and voluntary Medical Aid deduction Apply Now
