Unique Personnel boasts over 50 years (established in 1970) of personnel and staffing experience, so it's not surprising that even though our main focus has been providing on South African Staffing Solutions, we now recruit internationally for over 5000 clients Reporting directly to MD Responsible for the management and maintenance of construction/engineering equipment yard/workshop, plant earthmoving vehicles, spares Responsible for the upkeep of an on-site guest house Reportees: 2 x on-site mechanics - repairs and maintenance of equipment Manage security team x 4 (day shift and night shift) 1 x Admin lady – handles purchasing for the site, site deliveries, coordinating drivers, route planning etc 3 x drivers Requirements: Previous Workshop/mechanic and yard management experience Mechanical background/acumen – knowledge of engines to assist mechanics Strong management skills – assertive, ensure reportees are attending to their duties ESSENTIAL: Must be computer literate, experience with an MMS system (Materials Management system) – job cards, pull reports, etc
