Workshop Technician / Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic - Johannesburg
QUALIFICATIONS
Grade 12 or NQF 4
Trade Tested Auto Electrician or Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic.
DUTIES
Minimum 3-4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, carrying out repairs, servicing and refurbishing of EMT construction equipment
Proficient in hydraulics, engines and basic automotive electrics
Communicate with Workshop Manager / Foreman regarding completion of tasks
Ensure good housekeeping, high quality workmanship on all jobs performed
Timekeeping and attendance
Keep abreast of new technology
Work to health and safety standards
Report any discrepancy relating to jobs
Comply with company PPE requirements
Maintain company standards regarding jobs carried out
Pre-delivery inspections on new and used cranes
Refurbishment of used cranes
Servicing of EMT Construction equipment
Carry out repairs on EMT Construction equipment
Care of company tooling supplied Apply Now
