We are currently recruiting for a Boilermaker to join our dynamic team. Job Purpose The incumbent will be responsible for doing good quality maintenance work on the Process Plant equipment and infrastructure by means of executing maintenance activities according to job card instructions and the correct application of tooling and equipment and the use of prescribed parts and materials. Grade 12/N2 qualification. Boilermaking Trade Certificate from a recognised/accredited institution. Minimum of 2-3 years' experience as a Boilermaker in a mining environment. Minimum of 2 years relevant experience on Crushing and Screening Plant, with Conveyor Systems and automated Stackers/Reclaimers and general associated infrastructure. Legal liability, HIRA, First Aid, working at heights, firefighting, and basic rigging. Experience on Process Plant equipment with sound Boilermaking maintenance skills, knowledge, and technical background. Valid driver's license code 08. Certificate of fitness to work in a mining environment and successful completion of Rehabilitation Fitness Assessment (RFA). Skills and Competencies Sound maintenance skills and knowledge Technical and interpersonal Skills Problem solving and root cause analysis Written communication skills Compliance to MH&S Act of 1996 and Regulations and, Internal Mine; COP's, SOP's, Managerial Instructions, and other legislative requirements as deemed necessary by the company. Comply to SHE systems and processes and conduct Risk Assessments and complete Permit to Work prior to execution of any activities. Participate in incident/accident investigations when required. Compliance to good Engineering Maintenance Standards when doing any; installation, maintenance, and construction of the plant equipment. Conducting planned maintenance work in line with the maintenance schedule. Execute planned maintenance work according to job card task instructions. Maintenance work to be done efficiently. Perform quality inspections and report findings on the job card feedback for capturing by planning department. Ensure asset performance is high and reliable. Perform cleaning and good housekeeping duties within the department. Fabricate chutes, chute liners, pipes and all other steel work required in the process plant. Perform ad hoc task activities on request by the Supervisor and do standby duties. Required to work overtime as and when required. Market Related
