The primary objective of this position is to deliver effective human resource services by overseeing all pertinent HR policies, procedures, and practices within the Group HR strategy and the operational needs. This presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Professional seeking a role that offers responsibility, challenge, and a diverse array of tasks with substantial depth of work. • Collaborate and engage with managers and employees to shape their perspectives and advance the realization of people management strategies • Oversee industrial relations, disciplinary actions, incapacity procedures, grievance handling, employment equity, and training efforts within a unionized environment for operational units. • Serve as the representative for the business unit in CCMA proceedings, including arbitration when necessary. • Manage recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes for the operational staff. • Work alongside the Learning & Development team to facilitate pertinent training and development endeavors for operational staff. • Spearhead relevant HR project initiatives. • Ensure the effective implementation of all HR policies and procedures, taking accountability for their execution. • Act as the steward of relevant systems to ensure compliance with legislative requirements and audit protocols. • Conduct HR data analysis and produce reports for strategic insights. Human Resources Degree / Diploma or related qualification Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in Human Resources within a unionized operational environment Comprehensive knowledge of BCEA, LRA, EE, OHSA, WSP, ART reporting & BBBEE R 30 000 - R 42 000 ctc per month (depending on experience).
