Reference: DUR002106-CW-1 DUR002106 - HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER An opportunity has become available for a Human Resource Manager Purpose of the job: HR Manager required for an East London based organisation. The successful candidate will be required to manage and oversee the full HR function for the Group. Technical Competencies and responsibilities Human Resources Diploma or Degree Qualification. Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar position. Review salaries processed each month– 400 employees using Sage VIP. Responsible for the System updates on VIP and the annual renewal of the licence fee. Monitor PAYE, UIF, Employer's tax and SDL accounts with SARS. Ensure timeous and compliant submissions of the SARS mid-year Recon and annual EMP501's Recon. Consult with the Management line and staff regarding HR issues. Ensure onboarding and orientation as well as staff terminations are comprehensively managed. Labour relations – manage, advise and issue disciplinary documentation. Designated Employment Equity Chairperson – initiate and present at the quarterly meetings with Forum Members and submission of the Employment Equity plan and other relevant reports. Ensure Employment Equity records and updated monthly. Behavioural Competencies: Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in interpreting and implementing relevant South African labour legislation (BCEA, POPIA, EE, LRA, OHSA, WSP, ATR. reporting and BBBEE) Good planning, interpersonal and analytical skills Payroll experience (preferably VIP) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Integrity Conflict management Code 08 driving licence and be willing to travel if required Please note that only candidates with the minimum requirements will be considered.
