Strait Access Technologies seeking a highly motivated and experienced Snr Laboratory Technologist, to join our dynamic Tissue Treatment team in a split role capacity for a period of 6 months . In this unique opportunity, you will collaborate with the existing Snr Laboratory Technologist to ensure the treatment process is completed according to the time sensitive schedule in a production environment. Coordinating Tissue Treatment daily operations and schedules for the team members Solution preparation Ensuring the planned processes are completed as per the schedule/calendar Distributing and completing tasks and the timing thereof in preparation and completion of the processes to the team members Checking that all relevant components and equipment will be available or in stock for the processes Basic stock taking and planning of required chemicals and components needed for future runs as well as performing incoming inspections Training staff on any new procedures Ensuring staff conduct themselves in good lab practices General Housekeeping Completing all relevant documentation and ensuring full traceability of Tissue Treatment runs Filling out physical Test Instructions or Work Instructions as per the processes performed Submitting eWIs for all relevant processes Checking that there is traceability for the Tissue Treatment run, and liaising with team members to correct any mistakes causing traceability errors Inspect and notify Manufacturing Engineering of broken Laboratory equipment Alerting Manufacturing Engineering of any broken equipment Putting in requests for new equipment Performing intake of new equipment and liaising with Manufacturing Engineering the maintenance schedules Diploma in Biology, Chemistry or a related field (BSc preferred) Minimum 3 years in a Laboratory Environment (Tissue Treatment preferred) Minimum 2 years in a Production Environment Computer Proficiency (Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite) Time Management Team Management Communications Skills Email and Telephone Etiquette Planning & Organising Chemistry techniques Familiarity with a lab environment Clinical lab testing Sterilization Biohazard safety Medical teamwork Supply management Self-development Market-related
