The aim of the position is to provide CLDC TMS Operations and the client with the relevant reports, information, analytics and continuous improvement initiatives for decision support to assist in operations and cost-saving initiatives & identify, test and implement cost-saving initiatives. • Reporting: o Building, updating and communicating of reports o Ensure the quality of reports being published o Weekly and monthly financial reporting on actual savings leveraged from implemented initiatives. o Weekly and monthly reporting on project progress, successes, and key enablers o Executive level stakeholder communication o Power Bi reporting • Ad hoc: o Ad hoc analysis, queries and business support • Projects: o Identifying areas for improvement and savings o Solution design o Business case development o Managing projects to delivery 2 • General: o Interaction with ops personnel, contact centre personnel, client and other 3PLs • Tasks could include the following (project / responsibility dependent): o vendor engagement and data analytics o Power Bi reporting o Data analysis o Simulations o What-if transport modelling o Value at stake / business case determination o Project planning and execution o Coordination of many complex, multi stakeholder projects simultaneously o Process mapping o Automated Reporting o Presentation reporting builds and Power BI Reporting BEng Industrial • BCom logistics with honours or Analytics undergrad and honours degree Skills and experience required • 2 -3 years' experience in Supply Chain or any other business or commercial field is advantageous Supply Chain and Project Management experience will be beneficial with a logistics company • Principle/ vendor relationship management; • Management of Customer Service Stakeholder relationships. • Business development experience relating to logistics/ distribution contracts; • Distribution or planning relating to large-scale retailers and industrial environment in South Africa. • Warehousing experience beneficial • Data Analytics • Advanced knoweldge of PBI • Advanced knowledge of MS PowerPoint and Word • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel • Project management experience • SQL experience beneficial • Transport routing and scheduling experience beneficial • Analytical (Strong MS Excel) 3 • Must be able to cope with high-pressure environment • Comfortable working under pressure and successfully engaging in multiple initiatives simultaneously • Plan, manage and be responsible for own time management according to tasks priorities - Planning and working flexibly to a deadline • Problem-solving • Teamwork • Promoting Process Improvement • Report building and modelling Behavioural competencies • Assertive and able to easily engage with vendors/ principles for business development and service delivery-related topics • Self-motivated • Able to think logically and objectively with the ability to think outside of the box and therefore see the bigger picture • Written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills • Good leadership skills to obtain appropriate information and to arrange and co-ordinate small projects • Possess high attention to detail • Concerned with maintaining standards of accuracy and quality • Shows and instils enthusiasm in others to achieve desired results • Takes responsibility and accountability for the work and performance of others We offer an excellent salary package in a dynamic environment Apply Now
