This role is responsible for the effective performance of the Supplier Verification team. Researching key suppliers, reviewing purchase agreements, and ensuring all products and materials meet the company standards. Responsible for the effective onboarding and auditing of suppliers to ensure that risk and fraud are mitigated and free of misrepresentation. Assumes responsibility for the effective performance of the Supplier Verification team. Ensure effective distribution of work across the available resources within the team to ensure auditing and onboarding of suppliers is processed in an efficient and timely manner. Monitor the onboarding workflow to ensure SLA compliance. Monitor timeous allocation and resolution of queries. Ensure supplier onboardings are executed timeously and accurately for EMEA regions. Manage outstanding unresolved cases effectively, ensuring timeous resolution using appropriate and effective escalation techniques. Review and analyse monthly supplier onboarding. Review annual compliance and audits of suppliers. Methodically check onboarding documents and suppliers for accuracy and compliance. Proactively ensure that x3 quotes are received and fare market pricing is applied. Review and work to improve systems and processes deployed within the work stream. Manage compliance and behaviours of the business to ensure optimal use of Suppliers. Manage incoming e-mail response interaction on assigned cases and escalations. Adhere to company processes and deadlines at all times. Perform other duties as needed to support the business. Liaise between internal departments and suppliers on behalf of the business. Manage ad-hoc duties in support of business and stakeholders. Understand, manage and achieve SLA's and KPI's. Assumes responsibility for effectively supervising team members ensuring optimal performance. Provides leadership, mentoring and coaching to team members through effective objective setting, delegation and communication. Establishes effective reporting and communication with team members to ensure that they are appropriately informed of expectations, policies and programmes. Ensures that team members are well-trained, effective and employed optimally. Conducts performance reviews as required. Provides specific feedback and suggestions for improvement. Formulates and implements corrective actions as needed, fills vacant positions as promptly as possible and conducts interviews. Completes required reports and records accurately and promptly. Attends meetings and complete training as required. Completes special projects as assigned. Any reasonable and lawful instruction related to work and given by an authorised person. Re quir e d Kn o wl e d g e Proficiency in MS Office Applications; Word, Excel, Outlook SAP experience would be preferable. Edu cat i o n /Ce r t i f i cat i on Diploma in Accounting & Auditing - Preferable CIPS (Chartered Institute in Procurement and Supply) In possession of or studying towards a procurement qualification. Ex p e ri e n ce R e q u ir e d Must have approximately 6 years' experience in a Procurement environment. Experience in working within a large high-volume business is preferable. Proven experience in complex onboarding management. Ski ll s & A b i l i t i e s Ability to work independently and in a team setting to strict deadlines. Strong work ethic. Flexibility in working hours during busy periods may be required. High levels of compliance to processes and procedures. Attention to details and accuracy while meeting SLA Deadlines. Attentive and methodical with a sense of urgency. Resourceful and strong problem solver. Must be able to think of alternative solutions to a problem. Excellent communication skills that will enable you to clearly communicate problem issues via e-mail. Must understand when to escalate matters so that issues are not left unattended.
