This role is responsible for the effective verification and onboarding of all suppliers for EMEA ensuring each supplier is thoroughly checked, validated, and audited before the supplier is approved and onboarded by the appropriate control systems into SAP. Appropriate handling and resolution of business and supplier onboarding queries. Assumes responsibility for the effective verification and onboarding of suppliers. Proactively ensure Supplier creation process is completed in an effective and timely manner. Sourcing and validating all required documentation to onboard a supplier. Monitor and report on the potential risk of suppliers. Audit suppliers on an annual basis to mitigate the risk of fraud. Manage compliance and behaviours of the business to ensure optimal use of suppliers. Adhere to company processes and deadlines at all times. Perform other duties as needed to support the Supplier Verification & Audit Team Lead. Liaise between internal departments and suppliers on behalf of the business. Review and work to improve systems and processes deployed within the work stream. Completes special projects as assigned. Any reasonable and lawful instruction related to work and given by an authorised person. Re quir e d Kn o wl e d g e Proficiency in MS Office Applications; Word, Excel, Outlook SAP experience would be preferable. Edu cat i o n /Ce r t i f i cat i on Matric. In possession of or studying towards a procurement qualification. Ex p e ri e n ce R e q u ir e d Must have 2 or more years' experience in a supplier onboarding / procurement environment. Experience in working within a large high-volume business is preferable. Proven experience in complex onboarding management. Some experience in auditing. Some experience in a global procurement environment. Ski ll s & A b i l i t i e s Ability to work independently and in a team setting to strict deadlines. Strong work ethic. Flexibility in working hours during busy periods may be required. High levels of compliance to processes and procedures. Attention to details and accuracy while meeting SLA Deadlines. Excellent communication skills that will enable you to clearly communicate problem issues via e-mail. Must understand when to escalate matters so that issues are not left unattended.
