Minimum Requirements:

Education:
- Relevant 3-year tertiary or NQF aligned qualification.
Experience:
- Up to 8 years in IT, with a minimum of 5 years in a BI technical role and 3 years in a BI architecture role.
- Proven track record of delivering BI technical solutions.
- Experience with Data Warehousing and BI best practices.

Define End-to-End Data Design for BI Solutions:
- Ensure cohesive integration of all components of the BI solution.
- Collaborate closely with Data Integration and Information Delivery developers.
Develop and Define Data Standards:
- Establish and communicate data standards across the organization.
- Champion and govern these standards to ensure business benefits.
Develop and Define Metadata Management:
- Design and maintain metadata repositories to facilitate data asset understanding.
Create Optimal Data Design:
- Translate business problems into data designs.
- Align user needs with organizational objectives and system requirements.
Develop and Define Data Governance:
- Ensure compliance and integrity of data solutions.
- Oversee Data Governance, including data quality and reliability.
Build and Maintain Relationships:
- Form effective partnerships with Business, Enterprise Architecture, and IT teams.
- Provide specialist knowledge of Data Architecture to the Enterprise Architecture team.
Lead and Drive Research and Development:
- Guide the BI team in technology decisions and technical/data roadmap development.
