We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team on a contract base. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques, and providing ongoing reports. The role involves working closely with various departments to identify their needs and ensure data-driven decision-making processes. Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and interpret data from various sources. Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Use statistical methods to analyze data and generate useful business reports. Reporting and Presentation: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to present data insights. Communicate findings to stakeholders using data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. Prepare reports for executive leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data. Data Quality and Integrity: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of data. Perform data cleansing and validation to ensure the integrity of data. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets. Collaboration and Support: Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs. Collaborate with IT and business teams to integrate and streamline data processes. Support data initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Technical Skills: Use advanced data modeling, predictive modeling, and analytical techniques to interpret key findings. Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality. Education: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics. Experience: Proven experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects, etc.), databases (SQL, etc.), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks), and statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.). Adept at using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Familiarity with data warehousing and business intelligence concepts. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in a related field. Experience with big data tools like Hadoop or Spark.
