Our client in the retail industry based in Cape Town are currently seeking the skills of a Digital Marketing Analyst. The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert on digital measurement, web analysis and conversion rate optimization and has a good understanding of the media ecosystem, particularly Google Marketing Platform and social media. While being technically strong in data tools, the ideal candidate should also be a strong communicator and will be a technical consultant to the wider Marketing team Main job function Google tag manager: Tagging implementation, testing, maintenance and troubleshooting Google analytics implementation using GA4 Build reporting views in Google Analytics and reporting dashboards in google data studio using various data sources in order to support marketing decision making Google BigQuery integration with Google analytics and Looker studio Prepare business reports to surface actionable insights Qualifications Degree in Marketing/Business Management/Statistics Criteria Minimum 3 years experience in digital analytics environment Experience working with retail clients and ecommerce Extensive experience in leveraging an array of web analytics and reporting platforms including Google Analytics, Search Console, Facebook Analytics, Google Data Studio, BigQuery Experience working with digital marketing channels (SEO/SEM/Display/Social, etc), tag management tools (Google Tag Manager) and data layer implementations Proven expert knowledge in Google Analytics Reporting including attribution reporting and setting up advanced implementations of Google Analytics (including data layers and eCommerce) Ability to use BigQuery as a data source Knowledge of Analysis techniques for Big Data, Data Integration, Data Warehousing, Google Cloud is a plus Apply Now
