Principal duties/responsibilities: Customer load and bill analysis Desktop solar system sizing and yield assessment Information gathering and processing Excel based lifecycle cost assessments Solar and Hybrid system designs Solar product and technical research Knowledge of local standards and legislation Embedded generation applications Feasibility studies Site assessments Compile drawings and line diagrams Bill of Quantity generation Commissioning of Grid Tied, Hybrid, and Battery Backup solutions Quality control of installations Technical support for installation teams during the project installation phase Requirements of the Role: Design solar systems based on customer requirements Understand, interpret, and analyse electrical drawings Research safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines Excellent verbal and written communication skills Physically fit Organised, with good attention to detail Able to effectively multitask, prioritise and meet strict deadlines Valid driver's license and willing to travel Comfortable with working at heights Proficient in Helioscope, PVSyst, Microsoft Excel Qualifications & Experience Engineering Degree: B.Eng Electrical Valid driver's license Please forward me your CV to cmcnallynetworkrecruitment.co.za
