What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it): As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will engage in customer load and bill analysis, desktop solar system sizing, and yield assessment. You will be responsible for gathering and processing information, conducting feasibility studies, and designing solar and hybrid systems. Your role will include compiling drawings and line diagrams, generating bills of quantity, and commissioning Grid-Tied, Hybrid, and Battery Backup solutions. You'll enjoy the dynamic nature of this role as you perform site assessments and provide lifecycle cost assessments. You will ensure quality control of installations and provide technical support to installation teams during project phases. Your research on solar products, local standards, and legislation will inform your designs and embedded generation applications. Your ability to interpret and analyse electrical drawings, research safety procedures, and understand legal regulations will be crucial. Effective multitasking, prioritising, and meeting strict deadlines are key skills for this role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also required.
