Our Insurance Client currently looking for a Financial Lines Broker (South Africa) based in Johannesburg The Financial Lines Broker will be responsible for providing expert guidance and customized solutions for our clients' financial lines insurance needs. Their Insurance platform streamlines quoting, underwriting, and binding, enabling you to concentrate on sales and client management. Remuneration: R60 000-R65 000 per month depending on experience Offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary, performance-based incentives, and comprehensive benefits. Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Financial Lines Broker in South Africa, with a proven track record. In-depth knowledge of financial lines insurance products in South Africa, including D&O, professional liability, cyber liability, and regulatory requirements. Strong understanding of regulatory environments and compliance requirements for financial institutions and professional service firms in South Africa. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex risks and develop creative solutions. Excellent communication and presentation abilities, both written and verbal, to effectively explain technical insurance concepts to clients. Self-motivated and driven, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and Microsoft Office Suite. Relevant South African insurance licenses and industry designations are preferred. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a portfolio of clients across various industries in South Africa, including financial institutions, professional service firms, and public companies. Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential exposures and liabilities for clients, including but not limited to directors and officers (D&O), professional liability, employment practices liability, and cyber risks. Design and structure tailored financial lines insurance programs that effectively mitigate identified risks and provide appropriate coverage levels. Negotiate competitive pricing and favourable terms with insurance carriers, leveraging your market knowledge and strong relationships. Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes, emerging risks, and industry trends impacting financial lines insurance products in South Africa. Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients throughout the policy lifecycle, including renewal negotiations and claims management. Collaborate with underwriters, claims specialists, and other internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction. Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions, policy details, and renewals.
