Our Digital Insurance Client is currently looking for a Commercial Broker based in Johannesburg The Commercial Broker is a crucial role, they will be responsible for acquiring and managing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients across various industries. Their platform handles quoting, underwriting, and binding, allowing you to focus on sales and client acquisition. Remuneration Basic Salary as a loan R20k until commission gets to that amount then basic stops and commission only. 20% of book value. offers a competitive compensation package in South Africa, including a base salary, commission structure, and comprehensive benefits Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial Broker in South Africa, with a proven track record in the insurance industry. Thorough knowledge of commercial insurance products in South Africa, including assets, liabilities, speciality lines, and regulatory requirements. Strong negotiation and client management skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships. Excellent communication and presentation abilities, both written and verbal. Self-motivated and driven, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently. Proficiency in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and Microsoft Office Suite. Relevant South African insurance licenses are required. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing commercial clients, ensuring their insurance needs are consistently met through careful policy review and renewal processes. Proactively identify new business opportunities and generate leads by networking, conducting market research, and leveraging your industry knowledge and connections. Analyse clients' risk exposures, operations, and insurance requirements to recommend tailored coverage solutions that provide comprehensive protection. Use the platform to secure competitive pricing and favourable terms for your clients. Stay up-to-date with changes in the South African commercial insurance market, industry trends, and regulatory compliance to provide expert guidance to clients. Collaborate with underwriters, claims specialists, and other internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction. Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions, policy details, and renewals.
