A Laboratory Supervisor opportunity has become available at a well-established manufacturing group in Midrand. Ensure that equipment is in a workable condition at all times Daily housekeeping must be done in and around the Laboratory Daily cleaning of the equipment Follow through with the testing plan as accurately as possible Manage the team to complete all scheduled testing daily Make sure the work area is safe and any hazards must be reported to the Safety Rep A testing plan will be provided that will assist to follow through on all areas of the testing and to reach targets Need to test products to the SABS specifications Do the quality inspection of the products as specified Weekly calibrations must be done on the scales Train and develop staff Manage staff Discipline staff when needed Share all information and stats accurately and on time Measure all breakdowns and investigate problems Re-evaluate progress, mistakes and learnings Complete weekly reports on learnings Matric with Mathematics Experience in managing a team in a laboratory Concrete qualification - SCT Good career track record Own vehicle
