Position Overview: Seeking a dynamic and experienced National Operations Manager to oversee and optimize operations nationwide. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics management, with expertise in both airfreight and road freight operations. This role requires strategic thinking, leadership skills, and the ability to ensure seamless coordination across multiple locations. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Oversight: Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company objectives to enhance efficiency and profitability. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of operations staff, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Process Optimization: Streamline operational processes to maximize productivity and minimize costs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Vendor and Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, clients, and partners to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring safety and compliance at all times. Budget Management: Monitor and manage operational budgets to achieve financial targets and optimize resource allocation. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. Proven experience (5 years) in operations management within the logistics industry, with a focus on airfreight and road freight. Strong leadership abilities with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport and negotiating effectively. Proficiency in logistics software and systems for tracking and managing shipments.
