Where you'll work A growing borehole and water management business committed to community upliftment through safe and scalable water solutions. How you'll role As the Operations Manager, you will oversee various operations and technology teams, ensuring the seamless functioning of business operations, from installations to maintenance and stock control. You will implement and enhance operational processes, address broader business issues, and manage the performance of operational managers. You will act as the liaison for financial matters related to operations, including procurement coordination and billing. Additionally, you will handle HR management tasks such as recruitment, discipline, and performance metrics. Your role will involve assisting in the development of operational growth strategies, managing water quality procedures, and overseeing fleet, security, and stock management. What you'll do Manage the operations and technology teams Ensure the smooth running of the business operations, from installations to maintenance and stock control Ensure operational processes are being carried out and implement more efficient processes Deal with broader operations issues in the business Ensure that operational managers are performing and deal with performance related issues Be the in-between for financial related matters relating to operations including coordinating procurement with finance, capex billing after work done, etc. Perform the HR management function dealing with vacancies, recruitment, discipline, KPI's and leave Assist in developing operational growth strategy Water quality management (develop operational procedures and analysis models, etc) Fleet, security and stock management What you'll need Minimum of 5 years experience in an operations management role Proven experience managing technology and operations teams Strong knowledge of business operations, including installations, maintenance, and stock control Demonstrated ability to implement and improve operational processes Proficiency in coordinating financial matters with finance departments, including procurement and billing HR management experience, including recruitment, discipline, KPI management, and leave administration Ability to contribute to developing operational growth strategies Expertise in water quality management, including developing procedures and analysis models Experience in fleet, security, and stock management Salary R40,000 - R60,000 per month (neg. based on experience)
