Job Description
Your duties will encompass:
- Coordinate Road & Sea Logistics function in line with responsible destination.
- Administrate the logistics of vehicles into the relevant destination ensuring timeous delivery and error-free documentation.
- Complete the necessary daily/weekly/monthly updates, schedules and reports to control and monitor the required export function.
- Plan all vessel / carrier bookings with the relevant transporters to ensure accurate schedules and delivery lead times.
- Develop all import & export documents such as Invoices, COO, P/L, BOLs, etc. to ensure effective management of the logistics process.
- Provide customers and service providers (transporters, couriers, customs, etc.) liaison to always ensure effective communication.
- Process the required SAP / IT System capturing in accordance with the relevant deadlines.
- Strict Adherence and development of all standard operating procedures relevant to logistics and accessory fitment / conversions to ensure compliancy and confidentiality.
- Ensure that all necessary information is readily available for management reports and performance appraisals.
- Oversee specific departmental responsibility and ensure adequate training such as ISO14001, Health and Safety, First Aid, Fire Fighting, UID etc.
Qualifications
- Matric.
- Certificate in Logistics Management.
Skills
- 5 years of Import/Export (Including Business Administration), in the motor industry.
- Customs and excise regulations/ Import and Export Road and Sea Experience.
- MS Office - Intermediate.
- Knowledge of SAP System.
