Our client in the defense industry is seeking for a Recruitment Specialist. That will be responsible for ensuring that staffing needs are being met with a long-term recruitment strategy. Provide input to ensure that teams consist of qualified individuals Ensure that staffing needs are being met with a long-term recruitment strategy Devise and implement sourcing strategies, such as an employer branding initiative, to build pipelines for potential applicants Create and implement end-to-end hiring processes to ensure a positive experience for candidates Form close relationships with hiring managers to ensure clear expectations for candidates and interviewers Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, define job requirements and candidate selection criteria. Create job descriptions and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position Compile lists of most-suitable candidates by assessing their CVs, portfolios, and references Maintain records of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork, to share with key stakeholders Source, screen, and assess candidates through various channels, including online job portals, social media platforms, and professional networks. Conduct initial interviews to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and fit for available positions. Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process. Maintain a pipeline (Talent Database) of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting to offer acceptance, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Track and report on recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill and candidate satisfaction, to optimize recruitment processes. Coordinate pre-employment activities, including background checks and reference checks. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of recruitment activities, including candidate profiles, interview feedback, and offer details. Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and industry standards throughout the recruitment process. Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for senior management regarding recruitment trends, challenges, and successes. Provide a positive and professional experience for candidates throughout the recruitment process, serving as the primary point of contact for inquiries and updates. Gather feedback from candidates to continually improve the recruitment process. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field. Proven experience in recruitment and human resources administration. Familiarity with recruitment best practices, including sourcing strategies, candidate assessment techniques, and employment law compliance. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. Fluent in Afrikaans and English Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to interact professionally with candidates, hiring managers, and team members. R40 000 to R50 000
