Join Our Team as a Solar Energy Business Development Manager - Digital Power Solutions in South Africa Are you passionate about driving innovation in the Renewable and Digital Power sectors ? Huawei's Southern Africa Dig i tal Power Business Department is expanding its team and seeking dynamic professionals like you to join us in Johannesburg and Cape Town. Identify new prospects through comprehensive needs analysis, addressing challenges in utilities, industries, and infrastructure projects with tailored Huawei solutions such as solar inverters, battery energy storage systems (BESS) , uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), and power distribution systems. (Customer Engagement) Articulate Huawei's Digital Power value proposition, including renewable energy integration solutions, grid automation systems , and energy management products, effectively to potential customers. (Value Proposition) Work closely with product specialists, solutions architects, and channel partne rs to deliver compelling presentations and achieve sales targets in Valued Account Development and Optimization. (Collaboration) Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with business objectives to penetrate and grow market share in the digital power sector. (Strategic Planning) Gain deep insights into solar and digital power market opportunities, contributing to the overall sales strategy and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the PV inverter and BESS project development sectors. (Market Insight) Engage with customers at all levels to ensure robust integration of Huawei's DCI value proposition, leveraging well-established relationships within the Solar Customer Ecosystem. (Stakeholder Engagement) Drive engagement in Research and Development (R&D) activities, complete Proof of Concept (POC) projects, and participate in HQ events for key accounts. (Innovation Drive) 5 years of relevant work experience in the Solar industry Strong background in Digital Power Solutions such as: Solar Inverters Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) Power Distribution Systems Experience with EPCs (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) in South Africa or similar organizations Strong grasp of Renewable Energy Integration Solutions , Grid Automation Systems, and Energy Management products. Familiarity with the competitive landscape and vendor dynamics in the digital power sector. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information effectively to diverse stakeholders. Extensive network within the Solar Customer Ecosystem, demonstrating strong relationships with key stakeholders including PV inverter and BESS project developers. Proven success in achieving revenue goals and KPIs within the Solar Sector, ideally with experience in Valued Account Development and Optimization.
