Our Insurance Client is currently looking for a Short-Term Insurance Brokers based in Johannesburg Hunter Brokers –brokers who generate their own leads and close them Remuneration Basic Salary as a loan R20k until commission gets to that amount then basic stops and commission only. 20% of book value They offers a competitive compensation package in South Africa, including a base salary, commission structure, and comprehensive benefits. Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Short-Term Insurance Broker in South Africa, with a proven track record of success. Relevant South African insurance licenses and qualifications (e.g., RE5, FAIS) are required In-depth knowledge of short-term insurance products in South Africa, including personal lines, commercial lines, assets, liabilities and regulatory requirements. Strong understanding of the South African insurance regulatory environment and compliance requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. Self-motivated and driven, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and Microsoft Office Suite. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a strong portfolio of personal and commercial clients across various industries and segments in South Africa. Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and analyse clients' insurance needs, considering their specific circumstances and exposures. Design and recommend customized short-term insurance packages, including coverage for assets, liabilities, personal lines, and specialized risks. Negotiate competitive premiums and favourable policy terms with reputable insurance providers, via the platform. Stay up-to-date with changes in the South African insurance market, regulatory landscape, and industry trends to provide expert guidance to clients. Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are consistently met through proactive policy reviews and renewals. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. Collaborate with underwriters, claims specialists, and other internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions, policy details, and financial transactions.
