Role Description

We are looking for Technical Solutions Leads to join our dynamic team of professionals in a full-time remote position. The Technical Solution Lead will be responsible for solution architecture and design and overseeing the technical aspects of projects and leading a team of developers to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

Working with the project management team to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and develop plans to achieve targets.
Designing and architecting technical solutions to meet business requirements.
Be involved in key technical decisions and evaluating trade-offs, considering performance, and scalability, and working towards a solution that provides the team with a system that is simple and effective. Leading and managing technical delivery teams to ensure successful project implementation.
Project execution and ensuring that the solution complies with security, privacy, and regulatory needs.
Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, principles, and the technologies used. They are responsible for encouraging best practices, providing support and guidance, as well as understanding new technologies and trends.
The overall quality of a system or service, and so theres often a need to set and enforce quality standards. This means talking to the team about best practices and being involved in Code Reviews to promote maintainable, scalable code, and adhere to the best practices. Quality is also achieved through testing practices and code quality checks.
Bridge the gap between the business and the technology, helping to translate business requirements to the team and vice versa, communicating technical challenges and limitations to the business.
Communicate technical concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

Strong technical expertise in software development.
Experience with solution architecture and design, API definition, system integration.
Experience leading and managing a team of developers.
Essential hands-on experience with various technologies, including but not limited to, Java, JavaScript, C#, .NET, SQL, HTML/CSS, React, Angular, and Node. JS.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues across multiple platforms and technologies.
A deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile principles.
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
Experience and certification with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure
Bachelors degree in either Information Systems, Informatics or Computer Science or Engineering
5-10 years relevant industry experience of which at least 3 years as an architect
Professional experience, knowledge, and certification in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance industries are strongly preferred.
