An exciting opportunity has presented itself to appoint a suitably qualified candidate into the position of IT Desktop Support Technician Level: 1. This position is based at Electronic Laboratory Services Pty Ltd in Richmond Auckland Park. POSITION SUMMARY: Provides desktop support for the Practice ensuring all system users equipment is functional as per departmental and organisational requirements. The post holder is expected to: • Checks for all allocated tasks escalated and logged to them to determine workflow for the day to ensure optimal utilisation of resources. • Executes tasks in order of importance as indicated by supervisor and continue working on longer term projects to meet departmental objectives. • Captures progress and generate a completion report to enable status update on system to keep the business updated regarding status of system availability. • Carries out installations, do trouble shooting and support complex application specific software to ensure continual system interface for all users Qualifications: Grade 12 or relevant NQF level 4 qualification Relevant IT Certificate/Diploma Valid Code 8 (B) Drivers licence Experience: 1-3 Yrs Relevant Working Experience Negotiable Apply Now
