Skilled Setter – Philippi, Cape Town – R110 Per Hour A Plastic manufacturing company is seeking a Skilled Setter to join their team and play a pivotal role in our production process. Identify and rectify technical issues on production equipment. Conduct fault analysis and problem-solving independently. Develop and implement maintenance plans. Set and adjust machines for optimal performance. Liaise with managers and internal/external stakeholders for effective communication and problem resolution. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards. Secondary Education (Grade 12) Minimum N2 in Tool, Jig & Die trade theory with trade certification (red seal) preferred 5 years of relevant setting experience Sound understanding of technical drawings and fault-finding principles Strong communication and problem-solving skills Passion for career growth in packaging with environmental awareness Experience on machines like (but not limited to), MB50, PF6, etc. Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for professional development and growth Collaborative and supportive work environment
