Personal Assistant & Social Media Manager - Cape Town City Centre


Skills and experience required:

  • Great energy with a "can do" attitude
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Ability to adapt to new tools and software
  • Advanced Excel Skills (pivot tables and macros) and Google apps (non-negotiable)
  • Experience working on social media, mainly LinkedIn as a brand tool
  • Understands SEO and digital marketing on social media is advantageous (or at least an interest in learning)
  • Adept with social media such as LinkedIn, Instagram, FaceBook
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as an assistant to a Senior Manager, MD or CEO
  • Extremely organised and deadline oriented
  • Professionally groomed (we service executive clients and therefore a requirement)
  • Must have worked in a small company preferably a recruitment agency (but negotiable) with an "all hands on deck" culture as their team dynamic is strong
  • Experience in a recruitment, sales or services environment would be ideal.

Job description:
Report to and assist Managing Director
Sales Support:
  • Support Research team to conduct internet market research and identify potential clients
  • Collect and maintain client information in the CRM database (Vincere)
  • Data sourcing and research
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff and clients.
  • Ability to do Boolean and X-Ray internet searches is a strong advantage
  • Support sales team with ad response when required
  • Setting up interviews for candidates
  • Diary management for team
  • CV Typing
Marketing:
  • Manage and design all special project and events marketing material. Prepare adverts for candidates or positions to be marketed via socials
Personal Support to MD:
  • Screen telephone calls, enquiries / requests and handle when/where appropriate
  • Ensure that all filing is systemised and accurate
  • Capture and distribute reports and company correspondence to relevant persons
  • Manage travel plans local and international (flights and accommodation)
  • Arrange client and candidate meetings and interviews
  • Support with office stationery and consumables
